The 2015 National Rural Assembly will be held on September 8-10, 2015 in Washington, DC at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill.

ROOTS Week Annual Meeting & Artists’ Retreat is a unique gathering of artists and cultural organizers creating a better world together. The week-long event combines performance, studios, late-night cabarets, installations, business meetings and networking opportunities.

SEEDTIME ON THE CUMBERLAND is the Appalshop’s annual summer festival celebrating Appalachian people, music, arts, and culture. Seedtime began in 1987 as a way to promote the musical traditions and cultural heritage of central Appalachia by providing a venue right here in the mountains for these incredibly talented artists to display, perform, and share their work. Seedtime commonly features performances by old-time master musicians alongside barn-burning sets by cutting-edge bluegrass groups, incredible visual arts exhibits, and hands-on workshops that are fun for the whole family.

We are excited to announce that the world of 3D printing is coming back to Washington, DC this spring. On April 29th we will be holding 3D/DC 2015, our fourth (mostly) annual bacchanalia of 3D printing and policy. If we do say so ourselves, this is the premiere 3D printing policy event of the year, bringing together the 3D printing world and the world of policy. You should come.
